Experience

Hayes Valley

Hayes Valley was reborn when the earthquake damaged 101 Freeway was removed.   Hayes Street is the main commercial corridor full of culturally diverse art galleries, restaurants and designer clothing stores.  The redesigned Octavia Street corridor provides a great outdoor area for residents and shoppers. With direct access to the 101 freeway, Fell and Oak Streets, Franklin and Gough, residents can get from the center of the city to the outskirts very quick. Hayes Valley has become the place to have a terrific meal before attending opera or symphony events.
